Thai Polo CNY Cup 2024 (6 Goal)

This Chinese New Year I was fortunate enough to get invited back to Thailand to play the 2024 Chinese New Year Cup. This was a 6 goal tournament consisting of 3 teams, 2 Thai polo teams and 22Br. The team I played on consisted of Claude, William, Pedro and I. Claude and William being the two patrons and Pedro, a strong 5-goaler. This tournament was some of the most fun I have ever had playing polo, not only because we won but because the team was so warm and welcoming and the organization at Thai Polo is incredible and the location is stunning. Personally, it was a great experience to play with Pedro who is a great coach and gave me lots of tips and advice to improve my game.

This tournament win is dedicated to Peter A. who was my coach and the one that started teaching me to play polo. However, to me he was more than just a coach, he was more like a father figure and it is with great pride that I was able to win the tournament in his honor. I will write another blog post soon to talk more about his impact on my life and celebrate the successes and memories we shared together.
